For an early start come to the Earth Day Dedication Ceremony at 10: 00 at the old Railroad Bridge, Sheffield..free refreshments, music by David Walton and join a hike immediately following at the TVA trails. The celebration will then move over to Florence at noon.

Join us in the speaker tent at 1:00 to hear about passive solar thermal home design and hot water and at 3:00 to hear how to "Leave No Trace". TOns of kid's games, art activities, free rolly poly homes and mini aquariums at the UNA biology booth! Kids can ride and get to know the giant tortoises..artist vendors, nature groups such as Audubon Society, Wolf Howl Animal Preserve, Wild South, Sierra Club, Shoals Environmental Alliance,Wild South, Fresh Air Families, Wild Flower Society, businesses displays. Master Gardeners will share tips on composting kitchen scraps for a healthy garden. Keep the Shoals Beautiful will share anti-litter info, Florence animal shelter will have pet adoption and vouchers for neutering and spaying your pets....and much more!
